The Chief Inspector of our Regulator, the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI), publishes a report every year on the performance of each water company in England & Wales. In the Consumer Information section of the DWI website, you will find Drinking Water Reports. Here you can find out how many tests Folkestone & Dover Water Services have carried out for the various parameters and the levels found. Water Quality – Protection of your supplyWater companies have special legal powers under the Water Regulations Act to protect water supplies against contaminations, waste and misuse. We enforce the water fittings regulations, which guard against contamination from backflow, back-siphonage or interconnection of water from other sources.
