If a customer wishes the supply of water to be discontinued or transferred to another Customer, he should give as much notice as possible. In any case, at least two working days prior notice in writing must be given to the Company, failing which the Customer may be liable to charges beyond the date of his occupation.
The charges for which he may be liable shall be those for the period ending with
- the date the Company is informed by a new Occupier
- 28 days from the date he informed the Company
whichever first occurs after he ceases to occupy the premises.
References to two working days are references to a period of forty-eight hours calculated after disregarding any time falling on a Saturday or Sunday, or on any day which is a Bank Holiday in England.
