How To Pay

There are a number of ways in which you can pay your measured water bill. If you do not specify a particular method, we will send you a bill every 3 months that should be paid within 14 days of your receiving it. This can be done by any of the ways listed below (which are also printed on the back of your bill.) You can spread your payments throughout the year.

There are a number of ways you can pay your unmeasured water bill. We will send you a bill each February or March for the year ahead. You may choose to pay one annual payment in April, two half-year payments in April and October, or ten monthly payments from April to January. This can be done by any of the ways listed below (which are also printed on the back of your bill.).

Via The Internet

Direct Debit

Paying by direct debit is easy and efficient and enables you to enjoy the flexibility of choosing from a Monthly budget scheme. Simply contact us to request a direct debit application form. There are no set-up charges and we will send you a schedule of proposed payments to be taken from your bank account (on the 28th day of each month) in line with the payment plan you choose.

Please Note: the Company may make a charge to cover its administration costs if a payment is rejected due to lack of funds.

Cheque

Cheques may be sent, with the Giro payment stub to:

FDWS
The Cherry Garden,
Cherry Garden Lane,
Folkestone,
Kent CT19 4QB.

Cheques should be made payable to 'FDWS' crossed A/C Payee Only & must not be post dated. Please write your customer reference number, as shown on your bill, on the back of the cheque. Receipts will be issued on request if you return the complete bill with your payment.

At Your Bank

Payment may be made at any bank. No charge is made if you pay by cash or cheque at a branch of your own bank or any branch of NatWest Bank in Kent. Please use the payment slip attached to your bill.

At Your Local Post Office

Complete the payment slip and take the bill, with your payment in cash or cheque (payable to Post Office Ltd) to any Post Office. There is no charge payable by you at the counter.

Water Direct

If you are in receipt of Income Support or Jobseekers Allowance the Department for Works and Pensions may arrange for payments to be deducted directly from your benefits via Water Direct. Please contact us for further information.

Telephone Payment By Debit Or Credit Card

We accept payment by telephone by Visa, MasterCard, Electron, Delta, Maestro, Switch & Solo cards. Please telephone 0845 888 5 888 with your card & bill details.

At Our Offices

Please bring your bill and preferred method of payment to our offices at Cherry Garden Lane, Folkestone.

The EOS Foundation

Customers in financial hardship.

The Eos Foundation is a registered charity that offers financial assistance to reduce or clear arrears of domestic water charges. It is governed by independent trustees and is funded by six water companies including Folkestone & Dover Water Services.
