We were awarded the National Gold Award for water companies at the 2003 Green Apple Awards. The Green Organisation recognised our efforts to mitigate environmental impacts during the installation of new plant and pipeline at Dungeness. The Green Organisation supported by the Environment Agency, Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management present the Green Apple awards each year. This award joins our previous Green Apple award presented in 2001 in recognition of our work in the community. The previous year saw us win the Working with the Community category at the Environment Awards for Kent Business.
