FDWS actively promotes environmental education and in this we work with our local community. We continue to provide water conservation education:

Members of staff visit schools to give talks and show video footage highlighting water consumption and conservation

Staff also make presentations to plumbing students to improve their skills and ensure compliance with water regulations.

Below is a list of some more initiative we are actively involved with:

  • Fundraising WaterAid including our Annual 6-a-side Cricket Tournament
  • Working with the White Cliffs Countryside Project’s “Make a Difference Day”
  • Sponsor the National Trust Plant Fair at Langdon Cliffs
  • Fundraising for Children's Hospice
  • Donate or loan equipment to local schools were possible
  • Distribute Water Cycle posters to local schools
  • We support the “Water for Wildlife” project
  • Organise secondary school work placements
